* 1998 Spring stats incomplete

The newly married legendary scorer is back for another record setting season, although ball-and-chains tend to make skating a wee bit more difficult (just ask Dan Rodgers or Q-Com).  Halford’s wedding to Zippy’s Chicken heiress Jenn Van der Klump made international news.  Selected footage from the new James Bond movie (starring Tom Cruise/Pee Wee Herman look-alike Craig Halford) was taken from the actual ceremony itself and anyone who was anyone attended.  Part favors included the rare Mediterranean Piranha (B-Man will begin the season with two mechanical fingers) and photographs of Shawn blubbering away on the alter (Reasonable facsimiles are going for $100.00 on E-Bay). 

On the ice, Halford is slower than earlier in his career but he was never much of a speed demon to start with, so the wily Halfie continues to lead the point brigade into the coming season.  Look for Half to keep filling the net as he has quite a knack for making chances appear from nothing.  But remember ladies, this bucking bronco is taken. 

Extra note: Halford will wear two hats on his honeymoon in Cuba, doubling as loving husband and Tribal ambassador….H-Town is scheduled to play a friendly “Bay of Pigs Invasion” match on X-Box with Cuban leader Fidel Castro.
