Sir Paul (recently knighted in a quiet but well attended ceremony in the Devonshire Room at Buckingham Palace) has caused quite a stir this summer by finally divulging the details of his lupine upbringing in his new book: Running With the Pack:The Paul Houde Story.  From his early dependence on surrogate mother Brightwind to his fiery clashes with similar-aged male cubs who were jealous of his opposable thumb, Paul reveals all in his hot new NY bestseller (six weeks at #1).  A perfect read for those cozy nights curled up in bed, just bring plenty of Kleenex. 

Closer to home, Paul has signed his second consecutive lucrative, multi-dollar contract and will be expected to once again put up Bertuzzi-like numbers for the Tribe.  The assistant captain is looked at to score, properly receive one out of seven passes, and beat up anybody who threatens some of the prettier players on the ice (Actually, the British magazine Spiffy has named Sir Paul the world’s sexiest man.  Spiffy continues to have the largest gay readership in the UK). 

In business news, Sir Paul’s front two incisors sold for $2,500.00 each on  E-Bay.  The teeth were dislodged from Paul’s rather gaping mouth by an errant crossbar.
