Paul Houde

 

Paul "Boyz in da" Houde is TRIBE’s foremost power forward. A bumper, grinder... even a mucker if you will... Houde can also put the puck in the net, but not very often. His points come in bunches and he has the ability to be a large presence on the ice. A converted defenseman, Paul has flourished on the wing with Sheldon Abel at center. Little is known about Paul’s past, due to records being lost from the orphanage in which he was hatched, as it burned to the ground in a fiery inferno. However, another source states Paul’s solid upbringing is due to a kindly family of wolves that cared for him in his formative years (13-18). O.K., back to hockey. Paul has a good shot and is solid on his skates. An immovable force in front of the net, Paul is also a vocal and positive influence on the bench. Houde emerged from the DFBMHL (The Drew "Five Bucks" MacDonald Hockey League), a poorly run organization from which other Tribesmen like Hamer, Benvenuto, Walters, and Rodgers wasted some time at. Paul Houde isn’t quite at John LeClair status yet, and he probably never will be, but at least he’s not American.
