Could we possibly have seen any more of Rich Walters this summer?  From GAP poster boy to his recent crowning as champion of the IROC 500 Racing Series, fans could be excused for experiencing Ritchie overload. 

And what about the boob tube, you ask?  Well, obviously you haven’t seen the wildly successful Dick Walters: P.I. (on TNN, sandwiched between Richard Simmons: Jazzercize! and the Rockford Files on Thursday nights).  Walters plays the lead role as an experienced detective with a taste for the drink, the ladies,……and for justice!  Gary Coleman stars as his adopted son, Trey, and that gay kid Jonathan from Who’s the Boss takes his turn as Ritchie’s streetwise partner, Jacko. 

What of the internet, you querie?  Have you seen Ritchie’s personal website? (Twelve million hits per day suggest that you probably have!).  On the site, Rich gives some helpful hints to doctors, lawyers and homemakers alike, but encodes it in the meaningless gibberish of Battletech lingo and other computer techno-speak. 

Forecast: R.W. has seen his point totals rise virtually every year since he first laced ‘em up as an original Tribe member.  Expect more of the same from the versatile forward/d-man.  His passing has improved and he’s potting goals at a decent rate.  Good things are brewing in Ritchieland.
